How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
Working in TV it makes me more aware of what is going on in the industry overall (plus I always know the best food trucks near my office)

Twitter is the best source of information and inspiration from people and Facebook is good to stay in touch with people.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
I won't write U in place of YOU. What are two more letters anyway? I'll figure out a way to re-write the tweet instead of using it.
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
With time people's interests change so their tweets change so I think it's natural to unfollow people when that happens.
Why should we vote for you?
I love food so much and love to share news and insider tips about it with others. It has become than a hobby, it's become a passion.

What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
Getting the chance to connect with the chefs & foodies I admire has been amazing. It starts with a tweet, then a follow, & then a friendship.
How do you make your tweets unique?
I try to start each tweet off with a quirky, personal touch and play off of the info I'm tweeting about to keep it fun while informational.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Some nights I come home & tweet for hours. The next day when people read my feed they know I didn't really have any plans & tweeted instead.
140 characters of advice for a new user?
No pressure to tweet right away. Follow the people you like & as you read their tweets you'll find a voice of your own. Your thoughts matter.
How long can you go without a tweet?
I need to tweet daily or I feel like I get behind in what's happening and I get antsy if I don't read my twitter feed hourly #addicted
How do you imagine Twitter changing?
It's only going to improve & I think it will become one of the most influential ways people receive news & updates.
Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
I admire @immaculateinfat. I read their reviews, listen to their recommendations & love their perspective on food. They inspire me.
Who is the funniest person on Twitter that you follow?
@jenniferweiner. Her #Bachelor live twitting makes me laugh out loud on Mondays and her general commentary on life makes me happy.
Why should people follow you?
I tweet about everything delicious in NYC and tell you where things are happening, what is opening, and where you should be eating
How do you decide what to tweet?
If it is interesting and sounds delicious I will tweet about it.
How has social media helped bring your family closer together and #keepgoodgoing?
During Hurricane Sandy there were many food trucks & restaurants helping out that I tweeted about Sandy Relief efforts to spread the good
Why'd you start tweeting?
I was always emailing friends the latest foodie news, openings & deals so I decided to join twitter to share the delicious info in one place
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
YES! I am more aware of everything that is going in the world. I feel a part of the big conversation and have connected w amazing people.
How will the world change in the next year?
Food is going to continue to become more and more popular and it is going to become harder and harder to get a reservation.
