Let us put it this way: if there was a "social media marriage" Facebook and Twitter would be a match made in heaven. Inseparable.
How do you make your tweets unique?
Basically putting in humour, or at least an amicable and accesible language, it's a key element to get the general public closer to science

Not too long, we have a lot to say and show here in our museum!
What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
That is a frivolous and useless thing-in-the-Internet, instead of being valued for what it really is: a powerful tool of communications.
Why should people follow you?
Because we are constantly informing about a marvelous and mostly hidden world: the treasures of the Natural History Museum of Chile.
How do you decide what to tweet?
We follow the editorial line of the museum, even when something important or urgent occurs. The rule is not to go far from the museum themes.
How do you use social media to motivate yourself or others to live a healthier life?
We use the media a lot, we publish news on our social networks profiles in order to create awareness, and impulse action
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Express their opinions, give more valuable feedback of what they see, think and want. It helps us to improve our cultural offer.
