How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
Everything from leaks, to change management. And occasionally for anger management, as well.
What's your favorite Twitter app?
TweetDeck, of course.
Twitter or Facebook?
TWITTER.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
My neighbour's cat.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
"F*ck right the f*ck off" would be one.
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
Yes. Can't recall who. Usually for taking themselves far too seriously.
Why should we vote for you?
Because I'm just that good. There's really not much else to say.
What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
Discovering I know who can bring an end to the game, worldwide.
Hashtag you created that you wish everyone used?
#snowpocalypse
How do you make your tweets unique?
I sprinkle them liberally, with confectioner's sugar.
What inspires you to tweet?
Rage, generally.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Yep. Constantly. I'm a multi-tasker. People don't understand what that means, I think.
140 characters of advice for a new user?
Don't get hung up on follower numbers. Quality over quantity.
How long can you go without a tweet?
Not long. My eye starts twitching after about 6 hours.
How do you imagine Twitter changing?
It's the world's biggest shouting match. I can't see that changing.
Who is the funniest person on Twitter that you follow?
The @iainduncansmith fake. He's brilliant.
What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
That it's populated by daytime-TV-addicted mouth-breathers, who collect welfare rather than getting jobs.
How do you decide what to tweet?
I don't. The talent just flows through my fingers. I have no control over it.
Why'd you start tweeting?
I started as an experiment in public political discourse. But, the account took on a life of its own.
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
Presumably, it will be different. Though, I have no idea as to how or why. Perhaps there will be more roast beef, in the future, though.
