How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
I have an RSS feed that posts to my Twitter account whenever I post a new blog, have new music available to download or start my radio show.

Both, for different things.

Probably the #IAmSpartacus one that @christt started because it helped show the absurdity of #twitterjoketrial
What feature should Twitter add?
Anything that people want to add is available on third party sites that you can post to Twitter. Maybe something with Skype, could be good.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
Nobody, 'cos they might not like it. I thought Stewart Lee would like it, but he didn't. I rarely ever search for people.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
I rarely shorten words in Twitter. Most commonly used abbreviation by me is probably 'cos instead of because.
Is there someone you want to follow you who doesn't already? If so, who?
I don't really pay attention to who follows me, I'm just glad that people find my musing interesting enough to pay attention to.
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
I have unfollowed quite a few people, usually because they don't say anything. I have occasionally unfollowed people because they're boring.
Why should we vote for you?
Because I'm a guy who writes blogs and music that people seem to enjoy, and both are free. It would be nice to spread both to more people.
Terms you wish would start trending on Twitter right now?
#gillsmillionfollowers as i think it would be interesting to see how other Twitter folk react to a non-celebrity with 1,000,000 followers.
What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
Too many to mention. I've had many great conversations with celebs and non-celebs. Twitter puts everyone on the same level. That's the appeal

How do you make your tweets unique?
I just say what I'm thinking. I don't know if they're unique, but they're honest. That's all I can hope for.
What inspires you to tweet?
Random thoughts, deep thoughts, boredom, excitement, music, television, love, hatred, alcohol and food.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Occasionally, but only late at night when Twitter is quiet and I am bored.
140 characters of advice for a new user?
Follow friends, friends of friends and people that interest you. Also, talk. Twitter isn't as much fun if you just read. Just enjoy yourself.
How long can you go without a tweet?
I don't know. I'm online quite a lot, so Tweetdeck is just a click away.

I have no idea, probably because I have another 24 questions to go.
How do you imagine Twitter changing?
I'd hope that Twitter doesn't change much, 'cos then it wouldn't be the Twitter that I enjoy. I'm not even a fan of Twitlonger.
Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
I really like the way @Herring1967 uses it to promote comedy shows like #AIOTM, I think Twitter really helped the success of that show.

What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
That it's just people talking about the banal things in life.
Why should people follow you?
Because quite a lot of strangers follow me and chat to me regularly, so I must be interesting/entertaining enough in some way.
Can you name some one-of-a-kind Twitter accounts that you follow?
I'd have to say @CherylKerl, which is hilarious. Geordie phonetic tweets man woman man pet.
How do you decide what to tweet?
I just tweet what has come into my head. I probably shouldn't tweet some things, but I do - not that I delete tweets either.
Why'd you start tweeting?
I was just curious. I basically knew nothing about it. I'm glad I checked it out now.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
Twitter has helped me by offering easy distribution/advertisement for my blogs and music, and instant reactions from friends and strangers.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Nothing, I just let people do their own thing. If I want more or less of something then I'll follow/unfollow someone who provides that.
How will the world change in the next year?
Justin Bieber will be outlawed, Nicolas Cage will be elected leader of the southern hemisphere and Britney will explode at MTV awards.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Not sure if it counts as a faux pas, but I find it very irritating when people use Twitter like it's Google. Just Google it, that's what I do
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
Looking back on the previous decade and thinking "we were idiots back then, glad we got our head out of our backsides". *fingers crossed*
