I gather a great deal of information and news from Twitter that translates to knowledge that is applied to my professional life.

I have Tweetdeck for iphone and at home.
Twitter or Facebook?
Facebook is for close friends and family. None of those people know I am on Twitter. That's the difference.
What was the funniest trend you've seen?
People measuring success based on the # of Twitter followers they have.
What feature should Twitter add?
I probably don't use the majority of the current features.

As few as possible.

I think everyone should follow me, and they'd enjoy it.

I think my tweets are unique: funny, insightful, wide-ranging, topical, intelligent. And usually, with an element of truth.

I'm sure it'll happen soon. My momentum is really just starting.

So far, I haven't been clever enough to create a great hashtag.
How do you make your tweets unique?
They're anecdotal, observational, and topical - so not always unique, but I do rely on considerable discretion on my part.
What inspires you to tweet?
Things that I hear on a daily basis... And of course, outrageous and funny things that people tell me that they hear.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Not really. I try to keep it to 4-5 times a day max. A) I want to keep the quality up, and B) I don't like to cannibalize earlier tweets.
140 characters of advice for a new user?
Don't take yourself that seriously.
How long can you go without a tweet?
A long time... but what's the point when it's so easy... And doesn't take any time at all.

You should ask: Why do you want to win a Shorty award?
How do you imagine Twitter changing?
Further integration into our lives, especially the way in which we get information and news... well beyond what we've seen to now.
Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
No one in particular... Or, too many to mention. @zerohedge is very good.

What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
That its for famous people to tell you what they had for breakfast.
Why should people follow you?
For the same reason that I should win... My tweets are unique, insightful, entertaining, topical, truthful (mostly), and hopefully funny.

How do you decide what to tweet?
The process evolves, but it's generally a balance between what entertains me, and what seems to entertain my followers.
Why'd you start tweeting?
I saw @condeelevator and thought that I have overheard some amazingly funny, outrageous, and insulting things in banking
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
'Life changing' is a bit dramatic. However, I think its a phenomenal filter of information. I also get enjoyment from Tweeting myself.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Is Twitter missing anything?
How will the world change in the next year?
2012 will be a very challenging year. People will have to adjust 50 years of high expectations with respect to a sense of entitlement.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Re-sending old Tweets really gets some people mad... But I do it if I think new followers would appreciate them. But hopefully not very often
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
Stagnation in the US, social unrest in Europe, and revolution in China... I will be on a ranch in Colorado or New Zealand.
