I'm retired, so Twitter is my life. LOL. No, I have had a dozen publications of poetry all because of Twitter.

I, like many others, follow few. I value followers who appreciate good haiku.

Yes, I don't remember who, but I really want to see some effort at artistic production, not free-associating, rambling non sequiturs.

My friend from Vietnam, @vonguyenphong22 I ended up publishing two ebooks of his haiku. He is good.

I don't create hashtags, except as they relate to the names of poets.

I usually put a dash in front of a tweet

Reading the tweets of others, and walking in nature

Retweet others, &make your own tweets. Nothing is more annoying than one who doesn't tweet.
How long can you go without a tweet?
That's probably measured in minutes, not hours. I even schedule some of my blog posts to publish while I sleep.

I just worry about my own preparation, and I guess I'll adapt to any changes.

There are several people I follow closely, probably @bigmax722 but @vonguyenphong22 is a very good young poet.

What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
Some people may think Twitter is a frivolous medium, but it is far from that. I owe Twitter a lot of thanks for the past 6 months.

Please follow me if you like haiku. I do my best to tweet good haiku.

Most of my follows tend to be related to haiku, or haiga.
How do you decide what to tweet?
I studied poetry in college and fell in love with haiku, so that was a natural choice for me. I have also published several books of haiku.
Why'd you start tweeting?
That is a mystery to me, but I am SO glad I did, met many great friends, like @bigmax722

Yes, I have accomplished so much in just 6 months, and I owe most of that to Twitter.

Make an effort to learn how to write better poetry, although I am fairly tolerant of individual
