What are six things you could never do without?
Chocolate, smartphone, music, learning about Space, my friends and coffee.
How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
I like to engage and interact with the people interested in the Sun, @NASA_SDO and Space. I love sharing and learning.
What's your favorite Twitter app?
I really like Hootsuite - very easy to use for not having any thumbs.
Twitter or Facebook?
Twitter is awesome to get a message out quick. FB allows to elaborate a little further. Both go together!
What was the funniest trend you've seen?
I love seeing more mascots join social media and help spread the word. Using social media as an education tool is FUN!
What feature should Twitter add?
It would be wonderful to get Twitter stats and stats for hashtags. Would help us improve our outreach strategy.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
NASA Administrator Charles Bolden & more of the NASA and ESA Astronauts.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
Cumulative is certainly on the top of my list!
Is there someone you want to follow you who doesn't already? If so, who?
I would like more teachers and parents to follow me. Educating and inspiring about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) is a must
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
Besides spammers? No. I don't want to be rude.
Why should we vote for you?
Inspiring kids and adults to get more into Science/Technology/Engineering & Math is important. I want to show that science is fun!
Terms you wish would start trending on Twitter right now?
Better Education - STEM - STEAM (that's Science, Technology, Engineering, Art/Aeronautics and Math)
What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
I have met hundreds of space enthusiasts through Twitter and seen their passion and interest in person. Too many to just pick one.
Hashtag you created that you wish everyone used?
#SDOisGO was used when we launched our SDO (Solar Dynamics Observatory) spacecraft. We still use it for good solar updates.
How do you make your tweets unique?
Sometimes I pose in some of the pictures. Every time you see a rubber chicken with a flight suit posing, it is unique.
What inspires you to tweet?
Beautiful solar pictures, captivating Space stories, fun and interesting facts and sometimes my personal feelings.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Oh yes. It is part of learning. I don't always know everything and others help me learn too.

Who is the funniest person on Twitter that you follow?
I really like @DrVonBraun
What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
That people only update what they are having for breakfast...
Why should people follow you?

We will all become more connected to each other, which also means less independent. Important to take time for yourself!
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Don't argue and fight on twitter. It's not nice to call names on twitter. And don't tell me you are having chicken for dinner!
