Twitter > Facebook. Twitter isn't desperately trying to be all things to all people and what it does, it does well.

A way to mark tweeted links for reading later... to keep them separate from actual favourites and organised into categories

having proprietary content helps as well as sourcing info from lesser-known resources.
What inspires you to tweet?
Media scaremongering & character assassination against Disabled people & the fear rampant in Disabled community about basic survival.
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
yes... - Twitter isn't for conversations or for being happy about Shorty noms, allegedly. *sigh*
140 characters of advice for a new user?
Quality > Quantity. Don't worry about large numbers of followers; work towards building a supportive, actively engaged community.
How long can you go without a tweet?
Being disabled and coping with chronic pain does impact Twitter activity - about 4-6 hrs depending on when & how much I sleep.

How do you imagine Twitter changing?
As technology advances, so too will Twitter. Change is one of the absolute certainties of life offline and on.

Why should people follow you?
We're a voice for disabled ppl in face of neg welfare reform & negative coverage as ‘scroungers’ in what seems to be a campaign against us.

Go with the flow for the most part, tweets dictated by events in UK and internationally. Not just our own issues. #solidarity

to network and raise awareness about issues imp to us and things that interest us generally

yes, much-needed great changes personally and professionally thanks to Twitter
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Respond, converse and actively engage.... and not just to a select few. No point in being on Twitter if its about feeding your ego.

Some things will get better, some worse - same as always.

Spamming, retweeting without crediting and passing yourself off as a Twitter/Social Media *Expert/Guru/Rockstar/Ninja*
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
Same stuff, different day politically; history keeps on repeating itself, sadly. Anticipate significant advances in Technology & Medicine.
