I had a series of tweets in which I and my cat held a #pawparade to celebrate my various pet portraits with friends.

As a professional artist, I use it to share my work and connect with people who enjoy my artwork.
What's your favorite Twitter app?
Twitpic, Tweetdeck and Tweetdeck for the iPhone.
Twitter or Facebook?
Both! I use them for different purposes. I meet more new people through Twitter, and I get to know them better through Facebook.
What was the funniest trend you've seen?
The monthly #pawpawty where animals who tweet get together and have a party to raise money for animal charities.
What feature should Twitter add?
Easier to manage follower pages
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
Several of my best friends who think it is too "ADD" for them.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
I resist some of the trendy things, like LOL, U for you, etc. I don't do text speak unless I really need to shorten the tweet.
Is there someone you want to follow you who doesn't already? If so, who?
Bo Obama, but I am not sure the Secret Service allows him to tweet.
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
Yes. I have seen folks bully my friends and I unfollow them unceremoniously. I also block and unfollow spammers.
Why should we vote for you?
Twitter has helped me develop my profile internationally as an artist. It would mean a lot to me to share the award with my new friends.

I frequently connect with a capybura (@CaplinRous) who I think is the most interesting animal on the planet!

How do you make your tweets unique?
Actually, I am the back up to my cat, @BrewskieButt, who tells my story from a unique feline perspective.
What inspires you to tweet?
The connection that I have with interesting people I meet on Twitter.

I haven't, but my cat (@BrewskieButt) has.

Be yourself; be creative; tell an interesting story; share interesting photos and quotes; be social; let your cat tweet if he/she asks.
How long can you go without a tweet?
Not telling.

What is the best thing about Twitter? My answer--It is a very "Pay it Forward" community where people share and are helpful.
Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
@Romeothecat and @FrugalDougal who selflessly use it to raise money for animal charities.
Why'd you start tweeting?
I read a blog that said it would be a good way to develop a following as an artist. The blog was right.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
Yes!!! It has connected me to interesting people all over the world and it has made my cat @BrewskieButt a celebrity.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Be themselves and be social. Allow their creativity to emerge in unique ways.
How will the world change in the next year?
My fingers are crossed that the economy will improve and there will be fewer people in poverty and other extreme stress.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Being a bully, arguing politics via tweets.
