Twitter. I deleted (yes, I know) my Facebook account. Their privacy strategy is a joke.

Don't follow trends. I couldn't be less interested.

The ability to reach through Twitter and punch spammers in the nards.

I have Asperger's. I get obsessed in topics then lose interest after a while. When I do, I unfollow accounts that I followed while obsessed.

I speak directly as if I were face-to-face. Not really unique, just my way.

Let your interests drive you. Follow lots to keep you stream fresh. And purge all spam scorched-earth style! Don't let them follow you.
How long can you go without a tweet?
An hour for checking, a couple for tweeting. Obviously, unless busy or occupied. I am not a freak.

How do you imagine Twitter changing?
With a few relatively small modifications it could totally replace email. And I wish it would. Email blows.

That people are still only tweet what they had for lunch. That will be hard to live down and it's why I came to the party so late.
Why should people follow you?
Follow me? Why indeed? If someone sees my stream and is interested in what I say, then follow me. Else go away.

It is a great tool for Asperger's sufferers. We can interact with people without exposing ourselves directly. Easy to meet people.

I start with the Gulf Oil Spill for activism. Still mostly use it for activism but also now work and personal interests. Wouldn't change it.

The Internet will be nothing more than a collection of LOLCATs thanks to #SOPA.

If you follow me & you even LOOK like a spammer, I will report you. So will out your bio & tweet real stuff. Not the same link over & over.
