Girls is HBO’s comedic exploration of life as a young, white female living in New York City today. While the show has come under fire for lack of diversity and depicting a narrow view of millennial life today, it beautifully captures the confusing, post-graduate life of those brave enough to take on NYC. Star and creator Lena Dunham and cast put it all out there for every drunk/sex/breakup/marriage/dance scene. After each episode, Lena posts behind-the-scenes clips about her inspiration and how everything comes together, also announcing in 2016 that the new season will be the last.
