The Hilgos Foundation supports artistic creation for people who have dementia such as Alzheimer’s. The Foundation co-produced "I Remember Better When I Paint", a documentary narrated by Olivia de Havilland on the positive impact of creative arts on people with Alzheimer’s and how this can reduce stigma around the disease. The film shows the intersection between the arts, medical and scientific worlds. It has aired on PBS, TV stations in Asia and Europe and is also on DVD.
