Objectives

To promote the fourth season of Ducky Dynasty, we recognized our fanbase’s insatiable appetite for all things Duck. We looked to aggregate all of our shareable content into one environment. We created the ultimate Duck Dynasty library, providing the most popular images, videos and GIFs from all 4 seasons. To make the site user friendly, we included the ability to search by character (including the entire Duck cast) or categories (such as “life lessons" or “redneck wisdom"). Each week, we add new content to keep fans engaged and satisfied. The library lives on our A&E website as well as in a tab on Facebook and we enabled sharing on over 200 social media sites. We listened to our fans and heard that they love Duck Dynasty content and want to share each and every moment. We created a destination that empowers fans to share content in an easy way, continuing our dominance in the social media space. A&E’s Duck Dynasty at 10p was the most social program of the night on cable and overall with 352,759 total comments and a 53% share of TV buzz. The season 4 premiere was cable’s #1 nonfiction series telecast of all time among total viewers and A25-54. It was #1 on all of television on Wednesday night with 11.8M total viewers and 6.3M A18-49 and A25-54.
