OxygenLive, Oxygen's award-winning multi-screen viewing experience, had its best event in network history with the 8/21/11 East Coast live streaming event for "The Glee Project" finale. The Glee Project OxygenLive Finale Party sponsored by Neutrogena was an online event that coincided with the finale episode of The Glee Project. Oxygen partnered with UStream for a live video chat. During this OxygenLive event, Oxygen correspondent Tiffany Smith interviewed the final 4 contenders (and some other favorites from the season) competing for a spot on the Fox series "Glee". Fans of "The Glee Project" engaged with the series on every possible platform. The contenders answered fan questions live that were submitted on OxygenLive.com, the OxygenLive app for iPhone and Android, The Glee Project Facebook page, and @TheGleeProject Twitter account. The OxygenLive East Coast event had over 16K unique visitors in the 9PM hour, a +14% improvement versus the previous record holder (The Glee Project episode 104) and a staggering +422% improvement when compared to the East Coast event for the series premiere on 6/12/11. It also yielded 629k page views during the 9pm hour, a +158% from the OxygenLive event for episode 109. OxygenLive continues to drive high levels of awareness that support on-air ratings growth. Since its premiere on 6/12/11, the series has posted impressive triple-digit growth with +196% among A25-54, +174% among A18-49, +172% in total viewers and +167% among W18-49. On a time shifted basis across the first eight episodes, "The Glee Project" averaged over one million total viewers (1,095,000). Additionally, "The Glee Project" has reached almost 39 million viewers on multiple platforms, including on-air, Oxygen.com, Hulu.com and VOD.
