With so many great food and drink accounts, it can be difficult to make yourself stand out from the pack. Enter Kate Richard and her project Drinking with Chickens is, which, in fact is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Dubbed “garden-to-glass cocktailing,”Kate, an LA-based gardening enthusiast, uses what she grows in her backyard to create delicious and delightful craft cocktails. Joining her in this journey is her family of nine chickens, who add a little comic relief, and the occasional egg whites to her Instagram of 50K+ followers. Kate was named one of Saveur Magazine’s Best Drinks Blogs last year, highlighting her growing popularity on social media.
