Floors can be underrated. We walk all over them, but rarely stop to look at what’s going on beneath our feet. Instagram’s @ihavethisthingwithfloors is here to change all that. The account, which posts one picture of a beautiful floor each day, was started by three friends in Amsterdam who all love floors. Inviting their nearly 850K followers to use the hashtag #ihavethisthingwithfloors to post shots of the floors that stop them in their tracks, the Dutch friends choose one floor to highlight each day on their official feed. It turns out there is not only a ton going on down at ground level, but it makes for a stunningly colorful Instagram account. So next time your “feet meet nice floors take a selfeet.”
