Objectives

I was very inspired watching the Wonder Woman movie. Gal Gadot's character instills passion and confidence in everyone and particularly in women. I was a shy young girl terrified to speak or to leave my Mom's side. Faces spoke to me in a language I was able to understand. Faces and their expressions are more powerful than words. With makeup I can tell a story that words can only start to tell. Starting with a raw blank canvas of a face and enhancing the features with makeup is my passion. It has empowered me to express myself. Finding my voice through makeup has given me confidence to face the world and to view it as a wonderful exciting place full of possibilities. I consider my new found confidence a success story. My goal is to inspire young women with my story. I want to empower all young women to find their passion, knowing that with determination and passion they will find confidence and success.

Strategy and Execution

My strategy is to show all my viewers and followers that they can start from virtually nothing and create something incredible. I start with my own bare vulnerable face. I transform my face into whatever inspires me that day. I work alone and I have taught myself all of the various programs in order to film and then edit. Everyday life inspires me. Fashion inspires me. Fairytales inspire me. Social media and movies inspire me. I set up a studio in my bedroom with lights and video equipment and I try to create a video every week after I finish my homework. ( I am a senior in high school). What sets my work apart is that I keep my videos concise and to the point. I teach technique and showcase products without receiving any royalties or promotional incentives. My objective is to serve as a positive role model to other young women to do what they love to do and to embrace the power of makeup.

Results

I am so passionate about makeup and the art of makeup that I started my own line of lip glosses a few months ago called Teeny Wee lip glosses by Sasha Anne. I believe that a teeny lip gloss that fits in the pocket of your jeans or a teeny bag is all you need to take with you when you are running out to do an errand, going out to a restaurant, going to school or work. A simple brush of moisturizing lip gloss lifts the spirits and enhances the smile. Teenywee.com is my website for purchasing my peta certified lip gloss. I donate 20% of my profits to charities such as Operation Prom and most recently to YouCaring to help those affected by the recent hurricanes. My YouTube channel and all of the support I received from my followers inspired me to launch my company just this past summer when I was 17 . I have been featured in Teen Boss magazine highlighting teen entrepreneurs and I have been interviewed and featured in Wharton Business publication. I have been on livestream shows such as Cheddar and Little Things. My lip glosses have been featured on the Sweety High YouTube channel. I look forward to growing Sasha Anne into a successful cosmetic company and brand.
